Timothy M. Murphy
After spending my younger years living and traveling extensively throughout Asia, Europe and Latin America, learning to speak Chinese and several other languages, and earning my undergraduate degree in history and Asian studies at Augustana College, I completed graduate work in Chinese language and literature at Indiana University.
I then turned my attention to the law, earning the degree of Juris Doctor at Loyola University, as well as completing several classes in the School of Business. As one of three managing partners at a medium-sized litigation firm in Chicago, I compiled a strong trial and appellate record.
In private practice I handled cases in a variety of substantive areas, as well as cases garnering national headlines.
Now, as a writer, speaker and consultant, I offer my clients the knowledge base that comes with education and experience, the expatriate’s broad and open-minded view of the world, and the litigator’s eye for finding innovative, effective solutions to a wide range of challenges.
